Seeing her husband coming to her she jumped from tree and surprisingly she survived.
Everyone in Bunlap got inspired and impressed with this act and they started practicing this type of jumps.
So, called current Bungee jumping was started on 01/04/1979( Which is Fools day) when few people of Oxford University Sports Club, who get inspired by the film "vine jumpers", finally they decided to jump from an height of 245ft bridge in Bristol. They used rubber cords made of nylon, braid replacing the vines. These men dressed in tails and hat and they performed an exhilarating and breathe taking simultaneous jump.
